The beauty of a culture is in the people who live it

Hi! I'm Morgane, born and raised in Paris, and enjoying nothing more than exploring our beautiful Mother Earth and discovering new cultures. I love landscapes and architecture, but above all I am passionate about the human component of local cultures - the food, the traditions, the traditional garnments, learning about the history...

 

When traveling, I always pay most attention to people. How they dress mostly, the choreography of their everyday movements, the foreign music of their language.
I always remember that the beauty of a culture in not only in the architecture of its temples, it is in the people who live and breathe it.

 

So how did I start traveling? 

After studying fashion in Paris for 4 years, I realized that as much as I loved it, I couldn't see my life being only about designing clothes, that I needed to understand the meaning behind the clothes, what they say about a society and a culture and a person.

So at the time I was expected to look for an internship or a job, I traveled South America for several months, before settling to Tel Aviv after I met my husband. 

 

But this dream of mine - understanding the complex yet often dissmissed relationship between clothes and a society - is itching again. Perhaps it is time for me to embrace my long-time dream of studying the Anthropology of clothing! And what's better than traveling the world again to put myself back on track?

 

And like that, we decided that our next big adventure would be Asia! After a honeymoon in Japan and another great time in Nepal, we are now preparing our next 6 months there, starting with the Middle Kingdom - China!
